Dear Sweet Malley,
I am writing this and can't believe you are three years old! It just seems like yesterday when Daddy and I brought you home from the hospital. You were such a good baby! And now you have become a strong, independent, lovable, big girl! You have changed so much in the past year! You have overcome so many milestones! From learning how to express yourself through words, and the bigest challenge of all, you had to give up your "Bop." You have become a "big girl", a "big sister", and our precious oldest daughter!
Malley, ever since you were a baby you have been strong and independent! You love doing everything yourself. It is so fun watching you learn new things! You get so excited and you try your hardest! You love to read and do art! We love to have conversations with you as it reminds us everyday how much you are growing up!
I still think you look like your Daddy, but many people say the older you get you look more like me. Either way, you are you! And that is "Beautiful" inside and out! You love your family and friends! You care about them so much! And you never forget anyone! Each night when we pray you have to name everyone you know! It is so sweet!
You are a wonderful big sister! Parker loves you so much! She smiles when you are in the room. You love to run to her room when she wakes up! Both of you scream like ya'll have not seen each other in forever! You love to make her laugh! Daddy and I enjoy every second watching the two of you. It is amazing how you just took on the role as the Big Sister and how much you take care of her!
You love to play with your "Baby." You have so many babies, but there is only one that is yours! We don't go anywhere without her! You love to play in your kitchen and we think you are a wonderful cook! You love to dance and listen to music! One special story, Daddy will always remember, happened a few days before your third birthday. The two of you were driving around together checking his work sites. He said you asked so many questions while ya'll were driving around. A song came on and you were quite the whole time it played. Just before it was over you said, "Dad, I like this song". Your father just melted. The special thing about that song was that it was one of your Daddy's Dad's favorite. I know your Daddy would do anything for your Grandpa to meet you but as you get older Daddy will have some amazing stories to tell you about him!
Even though you are a big girl now, you still love to be held! You love to give and receive big hugs and kisses! And when you say "I Love You" just out of the blue it melts our hearts!
We love you,
Mommy and Daddy
